Microsoft
FrontPage 2000
Method 1: Server-Side Editing
Server-side editing is the
most straightforward method of uploading your website. With this method,
all modifications are made directly to your website. You dynamically
edit your documents online, and changes you make are reflected instantly
on your website. Users not already familiar with FrontPage should use
this method.
Step 1:
Run Microsoft FrontPage Explorer by clicking Start/Programs/Microsoft
FrontPage.
Step 2:
Choose "Open Web..." from the "File" menu.
Step 3: Click the "Web
Folders" icon; then type in http://www.yourdomain.com/
under "Folder name". Now, press "Open".
Step 4: Enter your username
and password.
Step 5: You will be presented
with a graphical view of your site. Create new files and edit existing
files using the familiar "file explorer" interface. You can upload non-HTML
files by dragging them into the FrontPage Explorer from another application.
Changes you make are instantly reflected on your website.
